Hello to you all, just thought I would come back on one last time, it's now been over 3 years since I became a member and I have enjoyed it immensely I have been helped a lot by many members, but I would like to say a farewell to you all as to do so individually well I don't think I have enough time left so if I may I would like to say a few words.

To the members I hope and pray whichever medication you finally finish up on it works for you and gives you all a better more painfree time,to those battling with RA and other illnesses I hope that these are allowed to be given the drugs to help us whatever the cost, nobody with any illness should have to go cap in hand to any government to be able to have a normal life.

To Ailsa and the team at NRAS thank you for all the help you have given me and the confidence to get the Rheumatology Team to actually give me some treatment, I am on Infliximab, Methatrexate (from the 16th), Folic Acid, Diclofenac and the usual heavy duty Pain Relief we have all come to love, I would like to say i hope the charity goes from strength to strength as we know there are still sufferers out there who need help.

To the members who have remained as friends I say Thank you very much, again it has to be a collective thanks.

To those who have had children, our hopes would be that the newborn are healthy and you have many years of Love and fun, we are awaiting the arrival of our First Great-grandchild (a boy) in late February.

To those members who have lost family and close friends our hearts go out to you with a prayer to help you stay strong.

I would also like to say a big thank you to those who are very rarely mentioned The Carers without who our lives would be a lot worse, my own carer has Just been diagnosed with Poly-Arthritis so my son has taken over.

Finally I know this is only the 8th of November but I would like to wish you and yours a very Happy Christmas and a lot better 2011

Thank you once again and Goodbye.

Albert Jacques

Hi Albert

Lovely post Albert, but sad to hear it's your last. Long time since we chatted but often wonder how you and Lilian are doing.

All the very best for the future. Take care

Hello Albert

Lovely to hear from you, I often think about members that don't come on here now and wonder how things are with them.

You were one of the first people who greeted me over two years ago and have always put up kind words to people

Just want to wish you and Lilian the best and congratulations of the impending birth of your Great Grandson..........so special for you all.

Dear Albert,
I'll always remember you as being one of the first to say Hello. Thank you for making me so welcome when first diagnosed over 2 years ago now, head felt quite mashed up but your kind words I will remember.
To you and Lillian all the best. painfree for 2011.
